Why I Just Can’t Ride Or Die On The Hillary Clinton Establishment Train

I have always been and always will be a keep it real kind of girl.  I’ve never been a follower and I’ve never believed in or done something because everyone else is doing it or thinks it is the right thing to do or the only way to go.  That is one on the many reasons that I can’t nor will I ever get on Hillary Clinton’s establishment train. I have never been a fan of the Clinton’s and there is nothing in the world that will EVER change that.  The only person that disgust me more than the Clinton’s is Donald Trump but for entirely different reasons.

No signs multiple

I have also never so disappointed  in this country in my entire life.  I have literally spent many a day sitting down with my mouth hanging open in utter shock because of what I am reading, seeing or expected to believe.  The republican party with its vast wasteland full of idiots has been taken over by one of the most repulsive human beings that has ever lived and breathed on this planet.  Donald Trump, their new fearless leader has taken over the wastelands and the banjo playing idiots that live in it. To be honest, I never expected anything less from the republicans but I did expect democrats and independents to step up their game and not go for a candidate that is part of the Washington establishment we all turned our backs on in favor of a change we could believe in 2008.

Fellow ( I am registered as an Independent but lean hard left) Democrats have been shoving Hillary down our throats since the day after President Obama started his second term in the White House.  She was ordained the queen of the 2016 election without a single thought about anyone else being a better candidate for the job.  I knew then that the concept of change had been thrown out the window and that we as a party were  screwed.  Wait, make that totally screwed again. Her supporters immediately pushed under the rug all the horrible things (all of them lies) she said about President Obama and the nasty tactics she and her shady ass husband used in an attempt to derail Obama’s campaign.  I haven’t forgotten what low levels they stooped to in order to discredit him and I never will.  I wholeheartedly admit that one of the reasons is because I am black and some of the shit she pulled was beyond borderline racist but I also question her integrity.  I don’t trust her on ANY level and if her supporters were able to get their heads out the queen they very prematurely ordained ass they would see what so many of us see.  Simply put she is not the real deal.

I also hate the fact that so many women get downright vicious when they are accused of supporting her just because she is a woman.  Let’s keep it real ladies,  that is exactly what thousands and thousands of you are doing.  I remember with great clarity the chants during the 2008 campaign.  The Hillary supporters said loudly and a little too proudly that it was time for a female president.  Hillary herself ran on a break the glass ceiling ticket, go back and listen to her speeches, she played the female card then just like she is playing it now. The only difference now is that she gets down right indignant when anyone calls her out on it and immediately labels them as sexist.   So again  let’s keep it real ladies, you and I both heard more about the importance of electing a female back then (and now) than we heard/hear about how wonderful her policies were/are.  It scared me then and it still scares me now.  Why support someone just because of their sex, someone that thousands of you did not even get behind in 2008 but have now flocked to like stink on shit?  Why in the hell or how in the hell did she immediately become the only choice, the only viable candidate that would be able to defeat the republicans? Have any of you ever  considered the fact that if you had been capable of being objective there just might have been a better candidate(s) out there?  You know, one that wasn’t part of the establishment you all claimed to hate.  I truly thought that was what democracy was all about clearly I was sadly mistaken.

Here is my biggest problem with Hillary Clinton,   I cannot get past the laws that she and her husband fought hard to get passed in the 90’s.  I don’t care how her supporters (black or white) try to spin it those laws caused catastrophic problems in poor and predominately black communities.  I know they have admitted that it was a mistake but that does not change what they did nor does it help the lives they had a hand in destroying.  No apology will ever fix that.  As a black female there is no way in hell I will ever trust a Clinton to have to have a black, white or purple person and/or communities back. When a person shows you who they are believe them.  That is a rule I live by.  I have included an article that I have used before on a post which was written by Michelle Alexander which explains in detail why Hillary Clinton does not deserve the black vote and in my honest opinion anyone’s vote.  In addition to being untrustworthy and continuously plagued by scandal (and no the republicans did not create her problems) she has changed her position on so many things to fit which ever audience is in front of her that I now have to take anti-nausea medication just to be able to watch her. Oh and one more thing with regard to the emails . . .stop screaming about republicans that also used personal servers.  It was wrong then and it is still wrong now.  You would think that because she knew it was wrong back then she would not have repeated that part of history.  If this was a republican candidate running that had done the same thing you all would be nailing him or her to their republican cross over it.  She screwed up, get over it.  It’s not like it is the first time so you all should be getting used to it by now.

I get that all politicians lie and that they all make promises that they will never be able to keep. I do believe, however, that there are some out there that have not been part of the establishment for so many years that they can no longer relate to the people they will do anything and say anything to in order to govern them.  There is even one in particular that has been working in Washington for years but somehow has managed not to bow down to the establishment, who hasn’t been bought by Wall Street and  hasn’t been a busy little beaver greasing palms and/or promising positions for their vote.  It is a shame that this person who has done nothing but fight for the middle class, that genuinely cares for the people that he governs and has never been involved in a scandal wasn’t even given a chance.  Instead we are just recycling the same old shit and the only thing that has changed is the decade.  I just can’t get behind this train wreck and I never will.

Why Hillary Clinton Doesn’t Deserve the Black Vote

We should have seen it coming. Back then, Clinton was the standard-bearer for the New Democrats, a group that firmly believed the only way to win back the millions of white voters in the South who had defected to the Republican Party was to adopt the right-wing narrative that black communities ought to be disciplined with harsh punishment rather than coddled with welfare.
